Each battery module has a built-in optimiser and manages charging and discharging independently. The old and new energy bank modules can therefore be used together, fully exploiting the potential of each.

The Huawei LUNA2000 S1-series energy storage banks are designed to allow elatic expansion of the storage according to needs and, as they grow, to expand the system over time up to 82.8 kWh (using two Huawei SUN2000 MB0-series inverter slots).
